New in: the Puma Rise Pack

Today we’re talking about a new release from the German brand Puma, a model that bears many similarities to previous editions. But what details do these new football boots have in store?

Today, Puma has unveiled what was to be its Euro 2020 collection, but as the tournament will not be taking place after all, the German brand has decided to launch it onto the market anyway. Even so, we will see top players such as Griezmann, Agüero and Suárez wearing these boots, although not at the Euro or the Copa América, but only in the final few matchdays of the major leagues.

As you know, the German brand likes to play around with colours, especially when it comes to bold and striking shades. These new football boots feature two main colours on the upper: a very intense yellow and a pink/orange shade that divide the boot in two. These are very eye-catching colours that Puma has chosen to incorporate into both the Puma Future and the Puma One. However, the real feature that makes these Puma football boots look so striking is the outsole. Technologically, there are no changes, but it’s finished in a striking silver colour that will make the players wearing them stand out on the pitch.

This colourway is intended to pay tribute to the Puma football boots released in 2016, the year in which the Euro was held, ending with Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo as champions. On that occasion, we saw many players wearing these boots with a different colour on each foot: one yellow and one pink, both very eye-catching. It is precisely these boots from which Puma has drawn inspiration for this new collection, although, naturally, it has introduced numerous changes. What remains the same are the great players who will be wearing them. Just as in 2016, today we can see players such as Griezmann, Buffon, Chiellini and Oblak, the latter accompanied, of course, by his Puma goalkeeper gloves.

Let’s now take a closer look at the two Puma football boots. We’ll start with the more classic model, the Puma One, a boot made up of two parts: one in natural leather, dyed yellow, and the other in pink synthetic material. In addition, as we’ve already mentioned, there’s the silver sole, which is probably the most striking feature of the design. Otherwise, it is virtually identical to the previous model, and we’ll see it on the feet of world-class players such as Agüero.

Let’s move on to the Puma Future, one of the most popular boots on the market. They are very, very comfortable boots that incorporate technologies such as Netfit, the customisable lacing system that allows each player to find the setup that best suits their needs. Here, too, we can see how the two colours divide the boot in two: one part is yellow and the other pink, finished off with a silver sole.
