It comes as no surprise to us that this launch has come at this time of year, a particularly good time for goalkeepers who are thinking of changing their gloves, whatever the reason. The HO Soccer Phenomenom gloves make their debut with a host of new features, both in terms of their design and as a completely new range of gloves.
Technical features: HO Phenomenom
Among the new features worth highlighting in these new goalkeeper gloves, there are two that stand out in particular. The first is that these gloves mark a complete departure from the minimalist design we’ve seen in the HO Supremo II range up to now. The second is that this is a completely new glove, drawing no inspiration from any other ranges produced by the Spanish brand.
The palm features a new 4 mm + 3 mm foam compound called Magnetic. This compound is fitted to these gloves using a negative cut, and the latex is pre-activated at the factory. The back features a reinforced Breathprene panel. A single, seamless piece, injected with Soft Silicone 3.0, is more than sufficient to provide structure to the back of these gloves in key areas, thereby supporting the most common actions performed by a goalkeeper. The fastening strap has been removed and the palm extends all the way to the wrist, making it much easier to put the gloves on.
