New SP El Factor X gloves pack

The X Factor is that intangible, differentiating quality that combines charisma, personality and attitude, something that cannot be trained but is needed at the elite level to stand out from the crowd. Inspired by this, SP Fútbol is launching its new collection of gloves which, in addition to a change in colour, brings us a generational leap in the brand's two most visible gloves.

We will begin by discussing the SP Fútbol Atlas goalkeeper gloves, which have undergone a colour change without any technological alterations. The Spanish brand has chosen red to adorn the exterior of its flagship product, a striking shade that suits this glove perfectly. Continuing with the aesthetic section, we find an X in the central area of the back that will be the link between all the gloves in the new SP Fútbol collection. This appears in black, giving it strength and making it the protagonist in the design of SP's most technologically advanced glove.

In terms of materials, there are no changes: super-dense breathprene for the upper part, where we also find injected gel for cuff clearance, and for the lower part, the same material but much more elastic, finished with an elastic closure strip that allows us to obtain the fit we need in the wrist area. 

For the palm, German QBlock latex will continue to help us keep every ball inside the area, and will be mounted on a negative cut with the unique feature of latex extension in the fingertip area. Of course, as has always been the case with Atlas since its inception, we will have three versions: Elite, Air and Strong.

Moving on to the SP Fútbol Zero goalkeeper gloves, the brand's most minimalist version. Without undergoing any technological changes, this silo has undergone a very important change, which is that, as you have read, the No Goal nomenclature has disappeared, so that Zero will now be the name of this silo. The colour blue plays a leading role in the design of the SP Zero goalkeeper gloves, which, like the rest of their siblings, feature the X in the central area. Yellow is responsible for giving this model its modern and striking aesthetic, colouring the brand logo and gussets, two areas that bring light and colour to this model.

In terms of technology, there are no changes. The back is a single piece made of LatexBody, a material that is coated with polyester so that it can be sublimated. In the knuckle area, we continue to find gel injections for fist clearance, and the mesh, an elastic and resistant material, will be used to form the gussets. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, let's talk about the palm. The latex used in the SP Fútbol Zero goalkeeper gloves is AquaBlock, a latex that was initially used exclusively for the brand's water models, but thanks to its great performance in dry conditions, it has been chosen to cover the palm of this silo.

We continue with aesthetic changes and now it's the turn of the SP Fútbol Valor goalkeeper gloves. A clean, careful and simple design, featuring a dark grey X on a white background. The colour orange brings some life to this discreet but beautiful design, painting the SP logo in the centre and the Valor logo on the index finger. Let's see who has the ‘courage’ to say that simple is boring after seeing such a wonderful design.

In terms of materials, there is a lot of latex. This material is found both in the palm area and on the fingers, in large quantities and with many features that contribute to both aesthetics and functionality. The body of the glove is made of neoprene, a highly elastic material that allows us to make all the movements necessary to catch the ball, and finally, on the back, there is a classic closure strip. As for the palm, these gloves feature Spanish-made ViscoBlock latex, a material that stands out for its viscoelastic foam, which helps cushion the ball. 

Now let's talk about the two silos that are changing generations, starting with the SP Fútbol Pantera goalkeeper gloves. There are many changes in one of the gloves that has evolved the most in recent years, becoming the choice of many professional goalkeepers. We start at the top of the glove, where we find finger tip wraps on all fingers sewn onto latex. For the central area, the material chosen is still breathprene, but it has little or nothing to do with the previous generation, as this time the breathprene is much more elastic and has a multitude of micro-perforations. Underneath this area, there is a PU seal that hides the seam between this first material and the neoprene, a thin and elastic material that provides a snug fit and flexibility and forms the lower part of the new SP Pantera goalkeeper gloves.

As for the palm, here we still have the same thing. QBlock latex is the material used in these goalkeeper gloves. It is mounted on a roll finger cut that ends in a flat cut to eliminate seams on the lower part of the fingers. The palm is covered in a bold, striking shade of pink that will let everyone on the pitch know that we are Pantera goalkeepers.

And finally, we will talk about the SP Fútbol Earhart goalkeeper gloves, the SP silo with the strongest presence in professional football, which is also making the leap to the next generation. A glove that works well does not need too many modifications, so the brand has limited itself to polishing certain details to bring the Earhart as close as possible to being the perfect glove for women's anatomical needs. These new features are mainly found on the back of the glove, with a reduction in the latex pieces on the fingers and the insertion of injected gel in the cuff clearance area. 

Other major changes can be found in the lower part of the glove, where the density of the body latex is significantly reduced to facilitate wrist movement. Finally, for the first time in the history of SP Earhart goalkeeper gloves, there will be two versions, one with a closure strap and one without, called Earhart Air. The palm area remains unchanged, with QBlock latex mounted in a negative roll cut which, as in Pantera, changes to flat just before reaching the base of the fingers.
