This weekend everyone was talking about the controvery action between Valentino Rossi and Marc Marques in Malasia Moto GP race. The previous statements by Rossi, the actions of Marc Marquez during the race and the final action by the Italian. But it's not the first time we see this type of unsportman like action in elite sport. Stress can take people to react the wrong way so lets review our top 5 unsportman like actions.

1. TONYA HARDING AND NANCY KERRIGAN

Probably most of you do not recognize these names but they were probably part of the worst and darkets chapter of sports history. Both professional USA ice skaters who were competing in the late 80's and part of the 90's. They were complete enemies and the hostility reached the top moment in the USA 1994 Championship to get a place in the Olympic Games of that same year. After one of Nancy Kerrigan's exercices an unknown man ataqued her with an iron bar breaking her knee. Nevertheless she was able to recover very fast and make it to the Olympic Games with the USA. Some time later we knew that Harfing's husband and the bodyguard hired a hitman to injure Kerrigan. Hardigan was banned for life.

2. ROY KEANE's REVENGE

In 1997 in an action that didn't seem dangerous between Alf-Inge and Roy Keane, the Manchester player "fell" to the ground. Haaland thought he was acting and got close to call him a liar. But actually he did get injured in the knee and Roy Keane had to spend the rest of the season out of the pitch. Several years later Toy Keane and Haaland would play against each other in a game between Manchester United and Manchester City. In the first action they were involver Keane would make one of the worst tackles against the rival followed by: "Take that you c***. And don't ever stand over me sneering about fake injuries". He was banned with 3 games and £ 5.000. Haaland would have to have sugery 4 times but it would not be enough to keep playing and he was forced to retire at the age of 29.

Years later Roy Keane would admit in his autobiography that we does not regret his horror tackle because he wanted to injure his opponent. The FA punished him with 5 more games and £150.000.

3. MICHAEL SCHUMACHER OVERTAKES DAMON HILL

This is one of my favorite. Michael Schumacher still hadn't won a F1 World Championship and reached the las race of the season in Adelaida (Australia). Two pilots were disputing the Championship with only 1 point difference for the Kaiser. The German pilot was ahead in the race when he hit the wall and damaged the car but just behind him was comming Damon Hill and when he tried to overtake him so since he was faster he would win the Championship. But the moment to overtake Schumacher came and the German move making it look like he was letting him pass but in the turn Schumacher went straight and provoked Hill to crash. Both wouldn't finnish the race and Michael would win his first F1 World Championship by 1 point difference.

4. MIKE TYSON BITES OUT PART OF EVANDER HOLYFIELD EAR

It's 1997 and Mike tyson was falling apart. After becoming the youngest Worl champion in heavy weight, his lifestyle was deteriorating his sporting carreer. After losing the Champion belt against Evander Holyfield a year befor in Las Vegas they were going to celebrate the rematch. Only 3 rounds (out of 12 pacted) Holyfield was clearly ahead and Tyson got very near to him and bit out part of his ear. You could actually see that part of ear and a lot of blood in the ring. Obviously Tyson was banned. Years later both have recovered friendship and can talk about what happend.

5. ZIDANE HITS MATERAZZI

All football fans fell apart the day they saw Zinedine Zidane end his carreer on the football pitch with a red card he received by hitting Materazzi. We already knew that Zidane had a strog character but he was one of the best and the time to end his carreer was going to be in the Final in the 2006 World Cup against Italy. The game reache the extension time with a draw and Zidane headbutted Marco Materazzi. Straight red card and end to his carreer (France lost the penalties)

In a corner kick Marco Materazzi grabed Zidane's shirt so he could not participate in the action and Zidane said to him: "If you want my shirt I'll give it to you at the end of the game" and Marco responded: "I don't want yours I want the one of the b**** of your sister". The rest is history.
