For some seaons now, Roberto Fernández has been one of our flagship keepers. His bets with Ronaldo or Claudio Bravo, his charisma... and his special tast on designing gloves has been the things that maks us love him. Lets take a look to some of his exclusive models from past seasons.

But the theexclusive Mussa Strong XT model for Roberto Fernández is here! and we will see him wearing them with CD Lugo in La Liga Adelante new the next 2015-2016 season.

Mussa Strong XT Exclusive Roberto 2015
But... how did we end up with this colorway? First thing is to talk with the keeper and show him the stock model, in this case it would be the Mussa STrong XT and from there we can start with the modifications he wants.
First thing I wanted him to know is that finally he could choose a palm with color. It took us a while to be able to achieve a good latex Gigagrip with a colored palm. But now it's possible and it works just the same as the white palms with the same Gigagrip latex. And The first thing that Roberto asked for was to have a fluor palm. So this was the first result we had:

And yes, he liked it but suddenly, in a trip he took to Córdoba on December 2015, he saw a color that gave him some inspiration... That orange! But how did he get that inspiration?

So we started to modify the first prototype to adapt it to the Repsol corporare colors. There are tons of fluor gloves but we don't find too many orange gloves in the market so we thought it was a good idea and this was the result:

My personal opinion is that the new glove was a lot better than the first prototype. But Roberto was missing something. He was thinking that the glove was too simple because there was only one colorway. And he said that the best thing would be to combine two colors... Orange and yellow. Since we already knew that the Hi 5 collection would feature a green color we gave him two options:

Although I personally prefered the 3rd prototype (you know I like green) Roberto said he liked more the last option. The combination of the yellow palm and the orange in the back hand gave it a Repsol look. And that would be the final Mussa Strong XT Exclusivo Roberto.
