NIKE MercurialX Proximo SE IC CR7

As you probabley know, Cristiano Ronaldo presented his new exclusive 'Out of this world' model from Nike for El Clasico between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid just a month ago.

Now we can present to you the NIKE MercurialX Proximo SE IC CR7, the futsal version that will only have 11 pairs available.

NIKE already gave us a Special Edition with the past Elastico Superfly IC, launching the Elastico Superfly SE IC, with an elegant black colorway which we presented to you the past December.

This time, and with the revolution of the NikeFootballX, this has been the model selected for the special edition, the Mercurial X Proximo IC.

The Metallic Silver chosen by Nike in this occasion is inspired in the color of the trophies. La Liga and the Champions League are the two tournaments that Real Madrid can still win and those tropies have the same color as these shoes.

Comparing to the Mercurial Superfly CR, the swoosh has a white color with a black outline and we don't get the CR7 logo in the instep because it has bee replaced with a smaller swoosh.

In the upper we still find the FlyKnit material that offere good touch and a tight fitm which is so important when playing on smaller courts like in futsal. The Dynamic Fit Collar will not provide any protection but will give that sock like sensation. The FlyKnit material is covered with NikeSkin to make it more durable and for some extra grip.

We still find the Brio-cable that will lock your foot tight and secure make for a more stable shoe.  Some rubber pieces in the interior make for no friction when wearing them.

The oursole and midsole of this NIKE MercurialX Proximo SE IC CR7 features the same design and materials we get in the Elastico Superfly IC. The midsole has a low cut profile with the Phylon material that makes for a good cushioning and mantaining the shoe light. In the outsole we find an hexagonal patern with the Nike Grid technology that will provide a good grip and make it very durable.
